How the club works

The Essex Bills Club is a free club for people in and around the Brentwood area who are interested in saving money on their household or business’ bills. By signing up as a club member and telling us a bit about yourself, we negotiate with energy and telecoms companies on your behalf to get a better deal for all the club members.
1. Register with the club

It only takes a moment to register on the web site. We ask you a few simple questions about you (you do not need to have any details of your current suppliers or requirements at this point) and how we can help you which we keep securely and do not share them with anyone else.

2. Tell us about your needs

We will asking you for more details of who your current suppliers are and what your current useage habits are. The questions are very simple and only takes a few minutes.

If you have some existing bills to hand you can also send these through to us and we will use these to get a better understanding of your needs.
3. We negotiate on your behalf to try and get you a better deal.

We gather basic details of your usage and, along with other club members with similar requirements, try and find a better supplier for you. We do not send your personal details to any suppliers or any other organisations so you will not be bombarded by their sales teams

4. We send you our findings.

Once we have found you the very best deal we can for you, we will send you full details. You are not obliged to accept the offer if it doesn’t suit your needs.

5. You decide if you want to accept the offer.

If you want to accept the deal we have negotiated for you, then you let us know. If not, then we will not contact you any further; the club is here to help you, not try and sell you anything!.

6. We help you through the switchover process.

If you have questions or need advice, the club is here to help you. We can help you with the application process (if you’re not an Internet expert we can help you or send you the correct paperwork), will also monitor the switchover (if your new supplier allows us to) and provide you with all the details of your new supplier(s) should you need to contact them.
